2012 Global Tree Farm Economics Review
As a co-author of the major new 430 page "The Global Tree Farm Economics Review", I am pleased to alert you to this publication, and to confirm that it is immediately available. It has been published by Boston USA based RISI.
This is the fourth edition of this prestigious Review, and I have been a co-author for all editions: in 1997, 2003, 2007 and now again in 2012. Co-author Bob Flynn of RISI also worked with me to compile the 2007 and 2012 editions.
Our history in researching and analysing timberland investment economics data from:
- Many dozens of countries
- Hundreds of timberland species/regime options, and
- Hundreds of companies
over the last 15 years, has enabled us to not only provide detailed data in this Review for 104 case studies in 51 countries as at Quarter 4 2011 and to
assess timberland investment attractiveness ratings and rankings for 51 countries; but also to identify and report on the changing emphasis and
attractiveness of timberland investing over time, by country, species and regime.
The Review also includes a unique section called "Major Issues / Opportunities for Timberland Investors", covering the 51 countries which
form the basis of the Review.
Finally, the Review also lists a unique database of timberland owners throughout the world and the areas they recently owned.
I have attached a brochure for your information and assistance. If you would like to ask any questions about the contents of the Review, and its
value to you, please do not hesitate to contact myself (see below) or Bob Flynn at email@example.com
